Chinese woman arrested with 120kg ivory at JKIA

Police have arrested a Chinese woman with 120 kilograms of Ivory worth Sh10m at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.

JKIA DCIO Jackson Mbati says the suspect was in transit to Hanoi, Vietnam from Zimbabwe when he was arrested at the airport Sunday morning.

Mr Mbati said police have launched investigations into the matter and the suspect will be arraigned soon.
