'I'm worth Ksh.95.3 million,' ICT CS nominee Dr. Margaret Ndung'u reveals

Ndung'u has disclosed her net worth as Ksh.95.3 million.
Speaking on Friday when she appeared before
the National Assembly's Committee on Appointments for vetting, Dr. Ndung'u
highlighted that her financial portfolio comprises a diverse array of movable
and immovable assets.
"My net worth is Ksh.95,323,000,"
she told the committee, said that this comprises both movable and unmovable
assets.
"My net worth comprises movable
assets worth Ksh.5.5 million in the form of a car and immovable assets
worth Ksh.54 million in the form of houses and land, Treasury bills and bonds
worth Ksh.25.6 million, Sacco shares worth Ksh.1 million and cash deposits
worth Ksh.11.5 million.”
Dr. Ndung'u was the last CS nominee to be
vetted by the committee on the second day of the exercise after Dr. Andrew
Mwihia Karanja (Agriculture), Aden Duale (Environment), Eric Muuga (Water) and
Davis Chirchir (Transport).
John Mbadi (Treasury), Salim Mvurya (Trade),
Rebecca Miano (Tourism), Opiyo Wandayi (Energy) and Kipchumba Murkomen will be
vetted on Saturday.
The final day will see Ali Hassan Joho
(Mining and Blue Economy), Alfred Mutua (Labour), Wycliffe Oparanya
(Co-ooperatives and MSMEs), Justin Muturi (Public Service) and Stella Lang'at
(Gender) undergo the vetting exercise.
