Voting in the Keekonyokie community trust has been disrupted after groups walked away accusing each other of lack of transparency.

The over 16,000 members were electing their officials to help in the subdivision of 2,800 acres of land in Kibiku, Ngong worth over Ksh.2 billion.

The two groups had earlier disagreed and resorted to holding the elections in the Mlolongo way.

However, a section of the members disrupted the exercise citing a lack of transparency in the process.

The groups are now accusing the county security teams of a lack of adequate preparations for the exercise and have since stopped voting.
