MP Babu Owino receives honorary doctorate degree in Benin

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Political Leadership from Weldios University in Benin.

The outspoken MP took to social media to showcase his new academic achievement shortly after a triumphant entry and reception back into the country.

Babu was received by an amped-up crowd at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) with screams of jubilation and euphoria, before he proceeded to make a brief speech.

The lawmaker uttered his now popular ‘Tibim’ and ‘Tialala’ slogans, as he said: “Education is a bridge between your dirty past and your golden tomorrow in the foreseeable future.”

He later expressed his gratitude to Kenyans saying he had dedicated the achievement to his fellow countrymen.
