New Holland has appointed Inchcape Kenya as its official distributor in the country, expanding its footprint in East Africa and strengthening support for Kenya’s agricultural sector. The partnership will begin operations on August 1, 2025.

Agriculture remains a cornerstone of Kenya’s economy, particularly for rural communities where it is the main source of income and employment. The sector also plays a significant role in foreign exchange earnings through the export of agricultural commodities.

As part of the new partnership, Inchcape Kenya will offer New Holland’s full range of machinery designed to support various scales and types of farming. This includes the TT Series tractors, known for balancing power and fuel efficiency; the versatile TD Straddle tractors suitable for a range of field applications; and the TS6 and 10S Series tractors commonly used for land preparation, cultivation, and haulage.

High-horsepower models will cater to large-scale operations requiring more coverage and efficiency, while the TC Series combine harvesters will serve the needs of small-scale and mixed crop farmers across diverse agricultural conditions.

Inchcape will also be responsible for after-sales services, including spare parts and maintenance support, ensuring continuity and reliability for New Holland customers.

Özkan Eren, New Holland’s Business Director for the Middle East & Africa, expressed confidence in the new arrangement, saying, “With Inchcape, we have found a partner well-positioned to support our customers in Kenya. This collaboration reflects our continued commitment to the country’s agricultural development and our goal to maintain New Holland as a leading brand in the market.”

Francis Agbonlahor, Managing Director of Inchcape Africa, remarked, “Our appointment as the official distributor in Kenya builds on over 40 years of partnership with New Holland in Ethiopia. This milestone aligns with our broader strategy for growth across Africa and reinforces our aim to support Kenyan farmers with efficient, reliable agricultural solutions.”

The partnership is expected to increase access to mechanized farming tools across the country, supporting higher productivity and improved resilience in the sector.
