Nyeri Man Escapes ‘Private Parts Chopping’

The 57-year old is said to have sustained severe injuries on his private parts after his wife allegedly hit him with a machete.

It was a double tragedy for the man, only identified as Gachiri, who argued that the children had conspired with their mother to evict him from their house.

The father of ten, was referred to the Nairobi Women's Hospital by the Nyeri Provincial General Hospital after it emerged to pose a challenge to the available facilities there.

Gachiri's wife has since been charged with causing bodily harm at a Othaya court. She was, however, released on a Ksh 30,000 cash bail.
