The election will be held in phases, beginning in Kwale, Busia and Siaya counties.
On April 29, ODM will conduct its grassroots elections in Kajiado, Migori and Wajir counties.
April 30 will mark the last day of the polls with Kisii, Vihiga and Murang’a counties conducting the exercise.
ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said the dates for other counties will be announced later upon reviewing the outcome of the earlier exercise.
Sifuna, while announcing the decision of the party's central committee, said the governing council of the party will come up with the mode of elections.
At the same time, ODM has demanded the resignation of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party officials who are currently serving in civil service.
The party said appointing civil servants into party positions will take the country back into the dark KANU days.
