PUSETU: Resolve Pay Dispute Or Face Strike

PUSETU says that all health workers under the union will down their tools in two weeks time if the government fails to tackle all issues affecting the health sector.

While addressing journalists, Union Secretary General Charles Mukhwaya told county governments to release the delayed nurses salaries.

The union is further demanding their salary payments be reverted to the national government.

At the same time, the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Union chair Victor Ngani has called for a definitive solution to current stalemate in the health sector.

Ngani has also demanded the formation of a national health service commission to champion their rights.
