Senator Mike Sonko’s bodyguard shot dead in night attack

Police have launched investigations into the killing of Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko’s bodyguard in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to Nairobi Police Boss Japheth Koome, Sonko’s bodyguard Bakari Tsuma was shot on the forehead at Sunton area in Kasarani as he headed home.
“There were about four people, one whom was armed with an AK47 rifle. The attacker shot the officer and made away with his pistol,” he said.
Tsuma succumbed to his injuries on Saturday while undergoing treatment at Nairobi Hospital. Koome further said that police have launched investigations into the incident.
