TSC announces 2,014 teacher vacancies countrywide

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced 2,014 teacher vacancies across the country to replace those who have exited the service.

Successful candidates will serve on permanent and pensionable terms.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 1,309 positions in primary schools, 32 in junior schools, and 673 in secondary schools.

Interested applicants have been urged to apply online through the TSC website by Monday, May 19, 2025.

To be eligible, applicants must be Kenyan citizens and registered with the TSC.

Primary school applicants require a P1 certificate, while junior and secondary school candidates need a diploma in education, a minimum grade of C+ in KCSE, and a C+ in two teaching subjects.
