Two people killed in a road accident on the Matuu-Thika road, police

The two ,alongside another passenger, were travelling in a Toyota probox bound for Matuu from Kithimani when their car rolled over severally after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

According to a police report filed on Thursday, Aaron Bernard, 40, lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road before crashing into a ditch.

He and another passenger died on the spot. The third passenger was uninjured.

The bodies have since been transferred to Mbaku funeral home awaiting a postmortem, while the car towed to matuu police station awaiting investigations.
