Two people died on Thursday morning in a road accident involving a lorry and pick-up on the Kenol -- Murang'a Road.
According to police, the 10 am accident occurred after the driver of the pick-up attempted to overtake a PSV matatu before colliding head-on with the oncoming lorry.
The driver of the lorry and his turn boy escaped unhurt but the two male occupants of the pickup died on the spot.
The deceased were taken to General Kago Morgue while the motor vehicles were towed to Maragua Police Station.
