We will win the 2017 polls with a big margin Ruto

Deputy President William Ruto has expressed his confidence that Jubilee Party will be re-elected when Kenya goes to the ballot on August 8.

Speaking at Churo, Kipsaraman, Kabartonjo and Kabarnet grounds in Baringo County, the Deputy President, said he was confident in Jubilee winning the elections saying the opposition is more focused on rhetoric while his party is focused on delivering its promises to Kenyans.

He launched the Kipsaraman Power Sub Station among other development projects in the area.

In attendance were Energy Cabinet Secretary, Charles Keter, Baringo Governor, Benjamin Cheboi, Senators Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Aaron Cheruiyot (Kericho), MPs Asman Kamama (Tiaty), Grace Kiptui (Baringo Women Rep), William Cheptumo (Baringo North), and Baringo Central’s Sammy Mwaita.

Addressing the public in Iten, and Eldoret towns in Elgeyo Marakwet and Uasin-Gishu Counties, the DP said Jubilee is going to have high margins than the 2013 elections, urging all unregistered voters to visit registration centres and get registered.

Echoing DP’s sentiments, Murkomen said the possibilities of Jubilee winning this election largely compared to 2013 especially because the ICC cases were dropped, asking the people to support current government.

The Senator further cautioned the people to stop believing what the opposition is terming as “ghost voters” since it is just what they are inventing.

He also asked the Kenyans to be firm and not to get confused by divisive politics separating Kenyans on tribal lines.

Ruto advised Kenyans to take up this opportunity of registering as voters to be an act of practicing democratic rights, in order to choose responsible leaders who have the nations interest at heart, and steer the country to greater heights.
