Bandari FC missed the chance to go to within one point of
the FKF Premier League top spot after settling for a barren draw against Ulinzi
Stars on Saturday at the Kericho Green Stadium.
It was only the first time Bandari have dropped points in
their last six matches with the coastal side entering the match off the back of
an impressive five wins in a row.
Ulinzi were resolute in Kericho despite the afternoon rains
that made conditions slippery with the home defence putting no foot wrong to
stop Bandari from scoring for the first time since February.
At the Kasarani Annex, Clifton Miheso scored a second half
brace as Kenya Police came from a goal down to win 2-1 against Posta Rangers.
The visitors found the breakthrough in the 35t minute when
Patrick Otieno fired in the opener from close range.
In Wundanyi, Vihiga Bullets’ top-flight survival hopes
suffered the latest blow when they lost 1-0 to Sofapaka FC thanks to Roddy
Manga’s sixth minute strike.
