Bandari take their pre-season boot camp to Kajiado hills

Bandari FC have pitched a one week pre-season camp in Ngong, Kajiado County as part of their new season preparations, team manager Albert Ogari has confirmed.

Bandari finished third last season behind champions Tusker and their close competitors KCB and Ogari says they are preparing for a tough season ahead with a silverware a top priority.

The Dockers have perennially come up short in their quest for the league title with the FKF Cup being the only trophy, bagging the honours in 2019.

From Kajado, Ogari says the team will travel to Nairobi on Friday for a friendly match before heading back home In Mombasa to face Lamu Combined in another warm-up match

On signing, Ogari said that they are in negotiations with four players whom they will announce after completing all the requisite paperwork.

“We are still talking to four or five players so far but we will unveil them once every process is completed.”

The team has also been boosted by the availability of all players, some of whom were away for international duty with the national football team, Harambee Stars

“Siraj, Abdallah and goalkeeper Ndikumana are all with us after a short rest, from World Cup qualifiers.”

The Dockers are rumoured to have already agreed deals with Tusker duo Rodgers Aloro and midfielder Jaffar Odenyi.

They have also parted ways with attacker Yema Mwana and Dan Guya, goalkeeper Matano Abdallah, midfielder Hamisi Mwinyi and long-time serving defender Dan Otewa whose contracts came to an end.

The 2021/22  kicks off on 25th September.
