National Super League
side Kayole Starlets’ head coach Mary Adhiambo is confident of her team
securing a promotion back to the FKF Women Premier League, after being drawn
with Kisumu’s Kisped Queens of Kisumu in the playoff.
In an interview with
Citizen Digital, Adhiambo revealed that her girls are well prepared to return to
the women's top league, after they were relegated last season.
"The girls are
well prepared. We don't have any threatening injury. We are very much
hopeful that we'll get back to the Women's premier league, as it is something we've
been working towards since we were relegated in the last season," said
Adhiambo.
The coach further
called on their fans to keep supporting them, adding that as a club, they are
determined to do better.
"I want to extend
our sincere gratitude to our fans for their unwavering support. I still urge
them to stand with us even as we approach the climax," stated
Adhiambo.
The winner between Kayole
Starlets and Kisped Queens will secure promotion to the women’s premier league.
