KCB Rugby Club has confirmed the departure of promising lock Andycolle Omollo, who is set to begin a new chapter in Japan after securing an educational scholarship at Tenri University.
Omollo, who joined KCB from MMUST Rugby Club, will travel on Saturday, March 28, marking a significant step in both his academic and rugby journey.
The towering forward has steadily grown into one of the club’s standout performers, combining physical presence with a keen eye for scoring opportunities.
During his time at KCB, Omollo has impressed in the ongoing Kenya Cup season, crossing the try line six times and earning Man of the Match accolades in key fixtures.
His performances have not only strengthened his club’s forward pack but also reinforced his status as one of the country’s rising rugby talents.
On the international stage, Omollo has represented Kenya U20, famously known as Chipu, before progressing to the senior Kenya Simbas setup, where he remains a key figure.
