The national tchoukball team has upped preparations ahead of the Nations Cup Indoor Games set for Geneva, Switzerland, later this month.
Kenya will be represented by three teams - Men, Women, and Youth, each discipline composed of nine players.
The Kenyan team is in a residential camp at the Aga Khan Hall in Mombasa ahead of the 18-nation tournament, which will run from 11th to 21st December in the Swiss Capital.
Kenya's team manager,, Billy Ochieng, is optimistic of a podium finish.
"We are having one of our best camps because the facilities here at Aga Khan Momabsa are exactly what we expect in Geneva," said Ochieng
He added, "Our weakness has been in defending and attacking something we have worked on and believe to see results in the championship".
Kenya has been paired against Italy and hosts Switzerland in the men's category, and team captain Peter Ayoo is predicting a better performance.
"We saw some opponents in Indonesia, but we have also studied their game plan, and we will counter them."
In the women's category, Kenya will battle hosts Switzerland, Brazil, Germany, and Hong Kong.
Team Kenya finished in third place at the beach tchoukball championship held in Indonesia earlier this year, and will be out to improve on this performance.
