Rising Kenyan winger Paul Osama has taken a major leap in his football journey, completing a move from Murang'a Seal FC to Swedish side Enköpings SK, marking a significant milestone in his blossoming career.
The 19-year-old forward joined Murang’a Seal at the start of the 2025/2026 season from Mombasa United and quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad under head coach Osborne Monday.
His pace, flair, and attacking threat saw him earn a regular starting spot, contributing three vital goals during the campaign.
Speaking exclusively to Citizen Digital, Osama expressed his excitement about the move, describing it as a dream realised.
“I thank Murang'a Seal for giving me this
opportunity, they are the reason I made this move — they gave me a chance in
KPL to showcase my talent. Hard work and dedication has also pushed me this far
and also putting God first.”
His transfer to Sweden sees him follow in the
footsteps of Kenyan stars who have previously played in the Scandinavian
country, including McDonald Mariga, Jamal Mohammed, Stanley Wilson, and Irad
Mshindi.
The winger remains focused on reaching even greater
heights, with his long-term ambitions clear.
“I am happy to be joining a team that many Kenyan
players passed through their system and made it big. My dream is to play in the
English Premier League but I trust God's steps and I know He will lead me to the
right side.”
Murang’a Seal FC paid tribute to their departing
star through an emotional message shared on social media:
“From Murang’a to Sweden. Paul Osama, you gave this
badge everything. The goals, the fight, the moments we’ll never forget. Now it’s
your time. Sweden awaits… go shine, go conquer. We’re proud of you. Forever a
Seal.”
Meanwhile, Enköpings SK warmly welcomed their new
signing, highlighting his impact and potential.
