National Super League (NSL) side 3K FC have eased their relegation concerns following a morale-boosting 2-1 win over Migori Youth last weekend, a feat that gave them a healthy buffer from the axe.

The victory lifted the club's spirits and eased looming pressure over their second-tier league status as they headed into the homestretch of the 2024/25 season.

Speaking to Citizen Digital after the win, 3K’s assistant coach Moses Munene confirmed that the team is not weighed down by relegation fears nor caught up in promotion ambitions.

"We are in a good place right now. There’s no pressure on us. Our focus is to keep performing well in each match," Munene stated.

The club is currently placed 9th on the NSL log with 39 points from 28 matches.

After the weekend glory, 3K is now setting its sights on their next assignment — an away clash against Nzoia Sugar FC.

Despite their next opponents' struggles this season, Munene expects a challenging encounter.

"Nzoia Sugar may not be high on the table, but they are an experienced side. We anticipate a tough, competitive game," Munene added.

As the season nears its climax, 3K aims to maintain its steady form and finish strong, building momentum for the next campaign.
