Police Bullets aim, shoot their way to KWPL title

Kenya Police Bullets are the 2023/24 FKF Women’s Premier League champions after they defeated Zetech Sparks 6-2 in the penultimate round of the season.
In a span of 21 minutes, Kenya Police Bullets had scored 5
goals. Captain Juliet Andibo led from the front, scoring in the 4th minute.
Golden Boot contender Rebecca Okwaro bagged her brace with goals in the 11th
and 25th minutes, and Lucy Kwekwe closed the first half with a brace of her
own, scoring in the 18th and 21st minutes.
In the second half, Police Bullets picked up from where they
had lefyt, Lydia Akoth adding the sixth goal. However, Anna Arusi and Yvonne
Kavere from Zetech Sparks managed to close the gap slightly by scoring in the
62nd and 70th minutes, respectively.

Meanwhile, Vihiga Queens and Nakuru City Queens played out a goalless draw, securing second place for Vihiga Queens. Elsewhere, Kibera Soccer Ladies beat Bunyore Starlets 4-2 at the KIBHT Grounds, while Bungoma Queens defeated Wadadia 1-0 at the Sangalo Institute grounds.Meanwhile, Vihiga Queens and Nakuru City Queens played out a goalless draw, securing second place for Vihiga Queens.
