Luke Shaw has committed his future to Manchester United by signing a new long-term deal at Old Trafford, according to Sky sources.

The 23-year-old was set to become a free agent next summer but the defender has now penned a deal which will see him remain with United.

The former Southampton left-back, who joined the club in 2014, has started seven of United’s eight Premier League games this season.

Sky sources understand Manchester United have also held discussions with goalkeeper David de Gea and Anthony Martial, who have options of a further year that could be triggered on their current deals.
