Bhang and Illicit brew worth Ksh 10 million destroyed in Narok

The drug exhibits has been in custody for the last three years.
Narok Chief Magistrate Hezbon Nyamberi said the drugs were destroyed as per the public health regulations.
Narok Senior Prosecution Counsel James Kigo said the culprits who had been nabbed with the illegal drugs had been convicted, with some of them having completed their jail terms.
He lauded the security officials for arresting culprits and called on the public to be vigilant and report criminals.
Narok central Public health officer in charge of Food safety and control Daniel Timayio said laid out procedures were followed when destroying the consignment.
Narok County remains a key transit zone for drugs from neighboring counties and neighbouring Tanzania.
