‘I will follow president Uhuru Kenyatta's political direction' : Interior PS Kibicho

Kibicho says he is busy doing the work of President Uhuru Kenyatta and dismissed rumors that he will be contesting for the Kirinyaga gubernatorial seat.

Speaking on Saturday at Gathuthi-ini in Ndia, Kirinyaga County, Kibicho said his interest is to help youth from the region exploit their talents.

He further stated that he is following President Uhuru Kenyatta's political direction and he is going to support the political camp of his choice.

Kibicho told residents to respect the President, whose government he said has done a lot towards development.

“I will continue supporting President Uhuru despite opposition by his critics,” said the PS.

He was accompanied by a section of Kirinyaga leaders among them Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici, Mwea MP Kabinga Wachira and his Kirinyaga Central counterpart Munene Wambugu.

On her part, Ngirici told off Deputy President William Ruto's allies saying they need to stop fighting PS Kibicho.

“We will not allow leaders from other counties to fight our son yet he is bringing development to our county,” said Ngirici.
