Machakos man set to renew wedding vows slips and dies in bathroom

A woman who was set to renew her vows on Saturday was left widowed after her husband had a fatal slip when taking a bath.
Mary Musyoki was to renew her wedding vows with her husband, Michael at Kamanzi Catholic Church in Machakos County.
Michael was rushed to hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.
His body was taken to Kivaani funeral home and the family returned home to prepare to go to church despite the tragedy.
The ceremony was supposed to be a renewal of vows as well as church confirmation.
The mass was presided over by Fr Jones Muinde.
The family then went for the reception at the nearby Kamanzi Primary School.
