Makueni: 55-year-old man arrested selling donkey meat

Police in Email, Makueni county, have arrested a 55-year-old man who runs a business of slaughtering and selling donkey meat.
Other suspects escaped when police busted them slaughtering donkeys at Kiumone village in Ithumba location.
Police confiscated the carcasses of nine donkeys and one live donkey.
They also recovered a motorbike.
Residents have been warned against selling donkey meat to unsuspecting buyers as festivities reach fever pitch as Christmas draws near.
