Makueni: Egg vendor found murdered inside her house, boyfriend ‘on the run’

Police in Makueni are actively looking for a middle aged man suspected to have killed his girlfriend at her house – before fleeing.
Makueni police station boss Winnie Siele confirmed the incident.
Officer Siele said that: “Our officers received report of the murder around midday, and subsequently rushed to the scene.”
“The body of the middle-aged woman was found lying in a pool of blood inside her house,” said Siele.
The deceased has been identified as a hawker who sold eggs within Makueni town.
The boyfriend, a known boda boda rider in the town, according to the police, has not been seen – with investigators treating him as a suspect.
The body of the woman was moved to Makueni Referral hospital morgue.
