Kisii: Man lynched after attacking uncle with a machete

A 47-year-old man has been killed by a mob in Kisii County, moments after he allegedly attacked his uncle with a machete.

According to police the attack on the uncle sparked a chain reaction of events as the deceased, identified as Jason Ratemo, retreated to his mother's house.

However, his attempt to seek refuge was short-lived, as enraged residents confronted and assaulted him.

In a shocking turn of events, the mob set Ratemo's mother's house on fire, reducing it to ashes.

The deceased's body has been taken to Kisii Referral Hospital mortuary, as authorities launch an investigation into the tragic incident.
